Minimum 12 months, typically 12-18 months.

Level 2 diploma in engineering operations (competence).

Level 2 certificate or diploma in engineering operations (knowledge).

Achievement of english and maths level  1.

Taken test for english and maths level 2.

Completed training as described in the standard.

Achieved all mandatory skills and knowledge qualifications.

Personal responsibility, development, communication, and quality to be assessed.

Maximum of 2 hours practical skills observation.

Typically covered within one task, but two separate tasks if required.

The skills observation will be graded pass or fail.

Assessed during practical skills observation, up to 6 open questions maybe asked.

40-minute professional discussion.

Up to 7 open questions will be asked during the professional discussion.

The professional discussion will be graded distinction, pass, or fail.

Assessed during professional discussion.

Professional discussion informed by information within the reflective portfolio.
